On-Site shredding
Our latest On-Site shredding vehicle, which was the first of its kind
in operation in the UK, enables the confidential data to be collected and
disposed of from ground level. The containers are lifted into a tunnel,
which is built in the vehicle, where the containers are weighed and discharged
at a high level into the shredding unit.
The whole emptying process is closely
monitored by CCTV, and is shown on a screen mounted in front of the operator
control panel.
The use of this vehicle enables the maximum security to be
maintained during the process.
Off-Site shredding & Recycling
Another new Off-site collection vehicle has been ordered for delivery September
2006.
The vehicle will have a capacity of 9 tonnes, and will be fitted
with a tail lift in order to provide ease of loading and emptying.
Recycling rates of up to 70% are being achieved by companies using the
Confi-Shred Data Destruction and Recycling Management services.
